Dr. Clive Cameron Clive came from Wellington and graduated from Otago University in 1975. He worked in Palmerston North and Wellington Hospitals. Clive and his wife came to Waikanae in 1982 and have a family of six children. Clive's health interests include palliative care, health screening, care of the elderly, and GP Registrar teaching. With what time is left he enjoys reading, church activities and various sports. |

Dr. Dermot O'Connor Dermot is a graduate of Otago University and has worked in Waikanae since 1988. He has two children, Joseph and Esther Rose. Dermot is a fellow of the Royal NZ College of GPs and his speciality is family medicine. Dermot is a keen swimmer and bike rider and enjoys triathlons, tramping and travelling. |

Dr. Andrew Edwards Andrew trained at Cambridge University and St. Thomas' Hospital, London qualifying in 1987. After various hospital jobs and GP training he spent 4 years working in Nepal in a Community Health Programme, and then came to New Zealand in 2000. He is married to Helen and they have two daughters, Philippa and Katy. His medical interests include tropical and travel medicine and outside work he enjoys church involvement and sport. |

Dr. Herman van Kradenburg Herman hails from South Africa. He studied medicine and surgery in Pretoria and Stellenbosch, and holds a postgraduate diploma in Occupational Medicine. He worked in Cape Town as a General and Occupational Practitioner for 8 years before coming to New Zealand in 2001. His medical interests include chest and cardiac medicine, allergy and skin conditions, occupational medicine, psychiatry, diabetes and endocrinology, paediatrics, women's health and minor surgery. Herman is married to Jeanine and has three children. He is a keen nature lover, enjoying outdoor pursuits, particularly free and scuba diving and bird watching. He is a family person at heart, and is involved in the local church. |

Dr. John Clarke John graduated from Manchester University in the UK in 1992. He spent 8 years working as a GP in Blackpool before moving to New Zealand in 2006. John works as a full time GP and his specialty is family medicine and diabetes. John is married to Jane and they have three children: Mia, Ben and Grace. He enjoys spending time with his family and working in his garden. |

Dr. Angelo Cacciato Angelo graduated in 1988 at the University of Catania in Sicily. He worked for the Italian Army as a medical officer before moving to England where he trained as a General Practitioner at the University of Sheffield. Angelo’s special interest is mental health and he holds the post graduate diploma of the Human Given Institute of London. He is married to Liliane and lives in Wellington, but he very much enjoys the Kapiti Coast which closely resembles the very much missed Italian coastline. |

Dr. Diane Carter Diane graduated from Otago Medical School in 1990. She worked at Palmerston North Hospital, then in England, before returning to New Zealand to do her General Practice training. Married with four children, she lives in Reikorangi and works part-time at the Health Centre. She enjoys music, tramping and developing in the garden, when she can find time! |

Dr. Pat McCarthy Pat graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1980. He spent two years in a mission hospital in Malawi and came to NZ in 1986 and to Waikanae in 1987. He developed a strong interest in medical hypnosis in 1991 and since 1996 has worked 4 days each week in medical hypnosis in Wellington and 1 day in general practice. He is married to Celia and has three teenage red haired daughters, Kirsty, Fiona and Gillian. He thrives on comedy and has become a part-time professional speaker/entertainer. He is often to be found on a course - a golf course! |
