Requesting a new Prescription

There are several ways of re-ordering your regular medication from your Doctor. You will need to see your Doctor at regular intervals to review your health and/or medication. You can telephone us on 04 293 6005 and choose the Prescription Line option, where you can leave a message requesting your medication. The answer phone is cleared regularly Monday to Friday. You can come in to the Health Centre and complete a Prescription Request Form. You will find these on the right hand side of the front Reception counter and also at the desk in the waiting room to your left. Hand your completed form to a Receptionist. You can make an appointment with your Doctor's Nurse - there will be a charge for the Nurse consultation.
If you would like to be able to request your prescription on-line, register for Manage My Health the on-line patient portal, where you can also book an appointment, view your laboratory results and much more.  Click here to find out about Manage My Health. We undertake to have your prescription ready for you to collect from the front desk 2 working days after we receive your request. Weekend requests will be available on Tuesday afternoons. You will need to see your Doctor at regular intervals to review your health and/or medication. If you are going on holiday, make sure you request a repeat prescription ahead of time, and be sure to take your medication with you.
